If you are a person that loves 1st/3rd person shooter video games, then Halo 3 is the game for you. Anyone who has an Xbox 360 can play this incredible 1st person shooter video game. If you enjoy Halo 3 then you will love the other Halo games as well. This is number 3 of the Halo saga and the best so far. The graphics are intense and so is the action.
So, how long has this game been around? Halo 3 has been out for three years. It was released to the market in 2007. During the first day of release, it was only sold in Australia as well as Brazil, India, North America and two other European countries. The next day, September 26 Halo 3 was released to Europe. Then there was a third release date which was the 27th when it was released to Japan.
How well did the sales go for this game? Simply incredible! Sales were huge to put it mildly. Halo 3 was said to have made $300 million in just the first week. After the first week supplies were low which caused demand to skyrocket. As of 2008, Halo 3 has sold over eight million copies.
Those who play Halo know that the location in which one is playing is in a made up Halo universe. It also takes place in the future. The Covenant has taken control of the planet Earth and they have taken over by destroying much of human kind. There are many features which one can do. They have some newer features which the previous games did not have. These are needed as it keeps people coming back to this. Some of this does not have to do with how you play the game either. There is one feature where you can add or take away things that you might want to use or not use. This is called Forging.
As you can see, there are many who love this game. There are many who are very familiar with the previous game. You might be one of those people who have played this game before and are anxious to see what about it is different.
